To be specific, the two products won’t be making their appearance side by side, but rather on two separate dates. AMD’s Zen3-powered Ryzen CPU lineup will be leading the charge, with its launch scheduled for 8 October, while the launch of AMD’s “Big Navi” GPU lineup will follow up on 26 October.

In the case of the Ryzen 4000 series CPUs, the most recent half-whisper we’ve heard is that AMD plans on introducing a 10-core Ryzen CPU to the fold, potentially making it a direct competitor to the Intel 10th generation Core i9-10900K. As for the Radeon RX 6000 series, there’s no shortage of leaks and rumours either, and it feels as though the Twitter pre-announcement post simply feels like AMD has given up on trying to patch up its leaking pipe. For a start, the GPU’s official name confirms what was initially uncovered from a specially designed Fortnite map, and there’s a very likely possibility that AMD could price its top-tier SKU of the Radeon RX 6000 series at a price lower than what NVIDIA’s current GeForce RTX 3080 retails for right now.
