But it looks like Avengers: Endgame will be a completely different ballgame altogether. In an interview with Box Office Pro, director Joe Russo commented on how Endgame will have a completely different style than Infinity War: While 1/2 of the Russo brothers was very careful not to divulge any plot points whatsoever, I think it’s safe to assume that he’s mostly referring to the perspective of the narrative and how it’s going to shift from the villain’s in Infinity War to the heroes’ in Endgame. But, it’s different tonally than Infinity War and it is told from a different point of view. It was important for us in our minds as film directors to separate those two because we do not want to make the same movie twice, and ways that you can differentiate films are through tone and point of view.” I fully expect Thanos to take a backseat in this movie, especially in the first half, as we focus on the aftermath of his actions as well as the drama surrounding the original Avengers. The trailers seem to indicate just as much. While the Infinity War trailer was more Thanos centric, the Endgame teaser and trailer hardly feature any footage of the Mad Titan. Avengers: Endgame will hit Malaysian cinemas on 24 April. (Source: Box Office Pro)
