One Clubhouse developer Mopewa Ogundipe posted on Twitter a screenshot of the app working from an unspecified Google Pixel device. Then in a follow-up tweet, Morgan Evetts commented that the Android version has been in development for about six weeks. That, and the projected availability of the app on the platform is in May.
Rough release date: May https://t.co/jI63NPw2Od — Morgan Evetts (@morqon) April 11, 2021 Though some things will be unlikely to change after Clubhouse becomes available on Android. For one, you’ll likely still have to get an invitation to be able to use it. And then, of course, there’s the myriad of pretenders that you’ll have to filter through. Some of them are downright dangerous in addition to be fraudulent. But on the bright side, best case scenario points at Clubhouse being available to Android users in less than a month. Of course, the actual release could be anytime from the start to the end of next month, or even later if the development process runs into any snags. (Source: Morgan Evett / Twitter via 9to5Google)
