As the images suggest, this new generation Digivice comes in the form of a wearable. In fact, it looks very similar to the one that came before it, called the Vital Breath Digital Monster. And according to Famitsu, it does come with a few of the more basic features that you’d expect from an actual wearable. A few examples include a built-in heart rate monitor and a pedometer. It also has a companion smartphone app called Digital Monster Vital Breath Lab. And this is where you access Digimon battles with others, which is a far cry of having to have two Digivices come into contact with each other in the toy’s early days. There’s even a Raid Battle, where players help each other to defeat bosses. And as you’d expect from modern toys, the Vital Breath Digivice -V- has additional add-ons called Dim Cards which adds more Digimon into the pre-installed roster. The Vital Breath Digivice -V- will be released in Japan on 2 October 2021 for JPY6490 (~RM250). International release dates to be announced at a later time. As for the Digimon Ghost Game TV series itself, chances are it will air at around the same time as the Digivice’s release. (Source: Famitsu)
