In 2017, John Wick: Chapter Two graced the big screens (this time helmed only by Stahelski as Leitch went on to make Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde) and once again blew the minds of fans and critics alike. Chapter Two expanded the mythos of the secret assassin community while also delivering insane action sequences. The film went on to make more than double of its predecessor at the global box office, raking in $US 171.5 million. Well, it looks like Chapter 3 will once again be an unforgettable ride. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services, and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City. John Wick: Chapter 3 is set to his Malaysian cinemas 16 May 2019.
