Starting with the XC3 Ultra Gaming, the card features a uniquely designed cooler shroud. It also utilises EVGA’s iCX3 cooling technology, which is a combination of a densely designed heatsink that envelops the entire PCB, a large copper base, and 180° heatpipe design. Coupled with the brand’s 2nd generation HDB fans that also come with a silent 0dB mode that keeps the fan static until a certain temperature is reached. Performance-wise, the XC3 Ultra Gaming RTX has a slightly higher boost clock of 1755MHz, compared to the typical 1710MHz boost clock a non-OC card runs at. Additionally, the card’s Texture Fill Rate is rated at 477.4GT/s. Also, powering up the card will require two 8-pin PCIe power connectors.
Moving on to the FTW3 Gaming RTX 3080, the card’s cooler design and shroud are nearly identical to the XC3 Ultra Gaming, save for the addition of RGB LEDs that can be found at the top and side of the card. It also has a higher boost clock speed of 1800MHz and 489.6GT/s Texture Fill Rate. Because of the card’s higher than average clockspeeds, the card requires three 8-pin PCIe power connectors to run. As it is with all GeForce RTX 3080s, both cards run on NVIDIA’s 8nm Ampere architecture, feature 10GB GDDR6X running at 19Gbps, spread across a 320-bit memory bus, PCIe 4.0 support, and 8704 CUDA cores. Oh, and both cards come with a 3-year warranty from EVGA.
The EVGA XC3 Ultra Gaming RTX 3080 and FTW3 Gaming RTX 3080 are already available at all authorised PC shops and retailers. Price-wise, the XC3 Gaming RTX 3080 has an SRP of RM3899, while the FTW3 Gaming RTX 3080’s SRP is set at RM4199. (Source: EVGA via Facebook)
