To quickly recap, the new Instinct variant features the same overall design, features and functionalities as the original. It is a 45mm watch with interchangeable 22mm straps, featuring a 128 x 128 pixel monochrome display, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo function, health monitoring, and multisport tracking capabilities. Garmin claims that this Instinct variant can last up to three days battery life in Esports mode. A new addition to the device is the exclusive Esports activity profile in the Garmin Connect companion app for smartphones. This feature tracks the user’s health, stress and Body Battery levels, which can also be sync-ed up via to another new Garmin tool called “STR3AMUP!” that displays the aforementioned data in real-time on PC.
