In commemoration of this special day, video game publisher SEGA is discounting Alien: Isolation on Steam by 95%. Bringing down the base game’s original SRP of RM75 to just RM3.75 for the base game, making it an absolute steal. If you’re looking for all the accoutrements that come with the games, Steam is also offering a package consisting of the base game and all eight add-ons. For just RM26.25. As a quick recap, Alien Isolation puts you in the shoes of Amanda, the daughter of Ellen Ripley. Set 15 years after the events of the first Alien movie, Amanda is forced to fend for herself while looking for clues behind her mother’s disappearance.
Of course, there’s also the Alien Bundle that comprises three Alien games: Alien Isolation: The Collection, the Aliens Vs Predator Collection, and the Alien Colonial marines Collection. All three titles usually cost RM226, but given the auspicious day, that price has been reduced to RM45.40. Again, we must emphasise that this special discount is not permanent and at the time of writing, will conclude within the next 33 hours. So, if you’re going to add the game to your collection, we recommend that you act fast.
As an extra added bonus, Alien: Blackout, is going for free on both Android and iOS. The mobile game is a sequel to Alien: Isolation, but instead of the usual first-person perspective, it plays more like Five Nights at Freddie’s. Albeit with less animatronic robot-killing machines, and more of getting your crew to safety from a bloodthirsty alien. (Source: Steam, Google Play)
