The company has mentioned that it is only allowing a total of 30 apps for the Assistant to work with currently. However, in time to come, it plans to expand support to more apps. Of course, in order to open a specific app from Assistant, users will first have to ensure that the desired app is already installed in their smartphone device beforehand. At the time of writing, the Google Assistant currently supports apps such as Twitter, Snapchat, MyFitnessPal, Discord, and Nike Run Club, among other selected apps. However, in addition to this, Google has also allowed users to set up their own personalised queries when using Assistant using shortcuts. The company has already rolled out the feature for all Android users. If you are an active user of Google Assistant, then you might want to take advantage of the newly implemented updates now.
