First and foremost, the square shape of Pixel 4’s rear camera is indeed real as what prolific leakers, OnLeaks has revealed just a few days ago. In addition to that, there is no physical fingerprint sensor present as well; at least on the back on the phone, as far as the official image from Google is concerned.
Surely enough, this is not the first time that we’ve seen a square-shaped camera module. As you are able to recall, Huawei Mate 20 series are equipped with such module which immediately becomes a recognisable trait of Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20. Aside from Pixel 4, the next batch of iPhone is rumoured to feature square-shaped camera module.
