Aptly called #BuangBalikRaya (or Throwback Raya, if you translate it directly to English), the advert pays homage to three well-known Raya advertisements that were released in 2015 and 2017 as well as a short film from last year. Naturally, Grab put its own twist on them in the advert: It is rather obvious that advert intended to show how Grab already played such an integral part within the digital lifestyle of many Malaysians especially when it comes to transport and food delivery. Conceptualized by Grab and Fisherman Integrated, the new advert was turned into reality by Taufiq Kamal and the team at Run Low Boy.
