The new bicycle is actually a product from the Serial 1 Cycle Company, a new brand formed under the Harley-Davidson banner. It is helmed by a team of the latter’s alumni including president Jason Huntsman, vice president Ben Lund, and several others. It is believed that the Serial 1 eBicycle itself is the first of many to be manufactured by the company.
Not much of the new e-bike’s details were provided, such as its motors and battery. Preview images and video of the Serial 1 eBicycle reveal it to feature a thin black frame, brown leather seat, a flexible brown chain, white tyres and a light-up logo.
The company claims that the new electric bicycle will allow users to “fide farther, faster, and with less effort.” In addition, it adds that the Serial 1 would be the “perfect solution for urban commuting and recreational riding.” Pricing and availability of the Serial 1 eBicycle have not been revealed by the company or Harley-Davidson at this time. However, a countdown timer on the Serial 1 website indicates that an official launch for the e-bike is scheduled to take place on 16 November 2020. (Source: Serial 1 [Website] [Press release])
