Nokia 7.2
Let’s start with the Nokia 7.2. As is likely obvious, this is the successor to the Nokia 7.1. It comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay with a water drop notch. On the inside, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, a 3500mAh battery, and runs Android 9 Pie out of the box. The camera is definitely the main attraction of the Nokia 7.2. It comes with a 48MP f/1.79 + 8MP f/2.2 + 5MP depth sensor triple camera combo. As for the front-facing camera, there’s a 20MP f/2 unit. The folks at HMD also say that all four cameras come with ZEISS optics. This also allows its camera app the ability to tweak the bokeh effect of portrait shots, which also works after the shot is taken.
Nokia 6.2
Then there’s the Nokia 6.2. Like the Nokia 7.2, the Nokia 6.2 succeeds the prior Nokia 6.1. This one also comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display, a 3500mAh battery, and Android 9 Pie out of the box. But for its chipset, it comes instead with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. The camera setup is pretty similar as well. The main camera here is a 16MP f/1.8 shooter, and it’s accompanied by the 8MP f/2.2 and 5MP depth sensor duo on the Nokiaa 7.2. The front camera, on the other hand, is an 8MP f/2 unit. Unfortunately, the Nokia 6.2 doesn’t come with ZEISS optics and the accompanying camera software. Both the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 come with two RAM and storage configurations. The Nokia 7.2 has 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB combo options, which are priced at EUR299 (~RM1385) and EUR349 (~RM1617), respectively. The former is said to be available by the end of September, while the latter will be available in October. That said, HMD Global has not yet confirmed any local pricing and availability details.
