The 0.95-inch AMOLED display is touch sensitive, and the whole device measures in at 45 x 18.8 x 10.85 mm. The display is bright enough for outdoor use, which is where the Band 3 Pro is most likely be used. It is also exceedingly light at 25 grams; a weight that you wouldn’t feel on the wrist. Huawei is also promising some long battery life for the Band 3 Pro. With continous GPS on, it is promising 7 hours of battery life, with a full charge achieved in just 100 minutes. Further, the smartwatch is waterproof up to a depth of 50 meters.
Moving on, the Huawei TruSee 3.0 precision heart monitoring system uses infrared to measure a user’s heart rate as well sleep cycle. The data collected can be viewed using the Huawei Health app, developed with help from Harvard Medical School’s CDB centre. The app can also help identify the six most common sleep-related issues, along with the solutions to fix the issue. Other functions of the Band 3 Pro includes notifications, call controls, and remote shutter for the cameras. The Huawei Band 3 Pro is priced at 99 Euros (~RM475) when it is out for retail sometime later this year in three colours – Obsidian Black, Space Blue, and Quicksand Gold.
