— CNN International (@cnni) June 29, 2019 Despite the new directive, Huawei’s name is still in the US Commerce Department’s entities list though which means that the US sanctions on the company are not yet been fully removed. In fact, Trump has stated that the US is saving the issue of Huawei for the end of its trade talks with China. So, all in all, Huawei is still not yet in the clear for the time being.
