While Mate X was not released in Malaysia even though it made an appearance at the 5G Malaysia Showcase, things are different for its successor though. Even though it is likely that the price in Malaysia is much lower than in Europe which was EU 2,499 (~RM 11,445), we expect that it will still carry a hefty price tag over here. Powered by the Kirin 990 5G processor, the Mate Xs is not exactly an all-new device but rather an improvement over the original Mate X. Still featuring the Falcon Wing design from Mate X, Huawei stated that the hinge and display on Mate Xs are now much stronger while the device also has longer battery life than its predecessor despite having the same battery capacity.
