First up is, as should be obvious, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Insomniac has released a short cinematic trailer for it, which shows both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in action, with another voice in the background. Plot details are scant at the moment, but from the narration, it sounds like Kraven will play a major role in the story. And at the end, the trailer revealed another character who will have a major part in the game: Venom. Next is Marvel’s Wolverine. According to Ryan Schneider, head of franchise strategy and studio relations at Insomniac, the studio was always thinking of what other games to make after the first Spider-Man. And during discussions with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Marvel, the name Wolverine kept being brought up. Which leads to where we are today. None of these games have any concrete release dates yet. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a rough release window of 2023. But it’s probably a safe bet to expect delays to that, considering the current global climate. As for Marvel’s Wolverine, its trailer simply says “in development”, so it’s safe to say that it will be coming after Spider-Man 2. Both are in development for the PS5, with no indication of if it will be on the PS4, or less likely, PC. (Source: PlayStation)
