Sadly and as it is with all benchmarks scores logged into AOTS, the performance details isn’t as substantial as other gaming benchmark. At the very least, though, the database confirms that the 12900K’s will a 16-cores, 24-threads layout, which are comprised of a collection of Performance Cores (P-Cores) and Efficient Cores (E-Cores). Further, the CPU was paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080.

The end result is that the 12900K managed to maintain an average framerate of 160 fps across the board. Intel’s Alder Lake CPU lineup was first announced during the company’s Architecture Day last month. As you may know, the CPU lineup will be based on the chipmaker’s new Intel 7 process node, which is basically a 10nm die lithography. While not as thin or advanced as AMD’s own 7nm process, it is still considered a significant move away from its archaic 14nm process. That was launched back in 2015 with Skylake.
