Despite the long name, the idea behind the contest is very simple. All you need to do is to record a 30-second video, adhering to one of three themes. One is “Be An Entertainer”, the second is “Inspire A Healthy Lifestyle”, and the third option is “Unleash Your Inner Artist”. Each category is as broad as they sound, so feel free to do what you feel best fits each one.
Once you have your 30-second window, all you need to do is upload it to your Instagram Reels, accompanied with the #LiveYourWorldWithAcer and #MyAcer hashtags. Naturally, you’ll also need to tag Acer Malaysia in it, with @my_acer. And finally, describe the way you live your world as the caption to your Reel. Of course, it wouldn’t be a contest without prizes. At the end of the #LiveYourWorldWithAcer Instagram Reels contest, Acer Malaysia is giving away an Aspire 5 laptop worth RM3899 as the grand prize. The second prize is pretty close on the awesome scale, being an Acer Swift 3 laptop worth RM3499. For the third prize, Acer Malaysia is giving away a 27-inch T2 WQHD resolution touch screen monitor worth RM1699. It doesn’t stop there, as the company has the 24-inch Acer B2 Full HD monitor worth RM899 for the fourth and fifth prizes as well. Acer Malaysia is also not limiting things to the grand prizes at the end of the contest. Three winners will also be chosen every two weeks based on the number of likes their Instagram Reels get. These prizes consist of a RM200 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit, an Acer Day yoga mat, and an Acer Day T-shirt.
If none of this appeals to you, fret not, as Acer Malaysia has other promotions going on concurrently. Also lasting until 30 September is the ability to redeem gifts after spending a set amount on select Acer products. Redeemable items include the Acer yoga mat, a Predator mousepad, a Predator Cestus 310 gaming mouse, and the Gateway Pro Wireless Headset. In addition to those, there is up to RM250 of TnG eWallet credits up for grabs as well. As part of this promo, with each purchase of selected devices, the company will donate up to RM50 to the World Vision humanitarian organisation.
