According to its website, the 8TB SSD Kit for Mac Pro 2019 is priced at RM 11200. As a comparison, the 8TB option costs an additional RM 10400 if you choose to install it into your unit at the point of purchase.
Since the Mac Pro 2019 can be configured with an SSD as small as 256GB, it is not surprising that the SSD Kit for Mac Pro can also be obtained in other sizes including 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. Pricewise, they are listed on Apple Malaysia’s website for RM 2400, RM 4000, and RM 6400, respectively. Apple has noted that you need another Mac running Apple Configurator 2 and a USB-C cable in order to reinstall the software after you upgrade your Mac Pro 2019 to the new SSD.
