As of Sunday, the game streaming feature was made officially available, but only for Android users in South Korea. The decision isn’t all too surprising; as we previously reported, LG U+ is one of NVIDIA’s partners outside of the EU responsible for helping the company roll out its game streaming service. More importantly, South Korea is a country with one of the world’s best high-speed internet infrastructures. Hence, it would only make sense for it to be one of NVIDIA’s first choice for deployment. For those of you itching to try out the feature, fret not. While the feature is technically being rolled out in South Korea first, there is already a functioning APK that you can sideload into your phone. While we’ve yet to try it, other sources have reported the feature to be working great, as seen in the video above. To access GeForce Now for Android, you’ll need to ensure that the device in question is running Android 5.0 or later. While the feature does come with virtual buttons for touchscreen use, we think it would be more efficient to get a Bluetooth-capable gamepad. (Source: Hot Hardware, The Verge, 9to5Google, XDA)
