First up is the charging stand (pictured above) which is capable of providing charging speeds of 40W. During the event, the device is demonstrated to be able to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery on an OPPO Ace 2 in just 56 minutes. The company noted that older devices such as the Find X3 are also supported, but only at a maximum speed of 30W – however, it did not mention if an attachment or case are required in order for non-MagVOOC devices to be supported by the charging stand. Next is the puck-shaped MagVOOC charging pad, which is capable of charging at speeds of up to 20W. Much like the Apple MagSafe, the pad can be magnetically attached to the back of any compatible device. Lastly, we have the MagVOOC power bank. Unlike the others mentioned earlier, the device does not require to be connected to a power outlet in order to charge compatible smartphones or other products – provided that its internal 4,500mAh storage is fully charged, of course. OPPO says that the power bank is able to charge devices at 20W via MagVOOC and 10W via USB-C. The device itself is said to take two hours to be fully charged via USB-C. All three products support the Qi wireless charging standard, enabling them to also work with non-MagVOOC devices. The only drawback to this are the slower charging speeds, where the charging stand will output at only 15W, while the charging pad and power bank both offer top-up speeds at up to 10W. The company’s unveiling of its MagVOOC technology arrives not long after the introduction of MagDart, a similar technology developed by Realme. And much like its fellow BBK subsidiary, OPPO did not mention the pricing or expected date availability for its new magnetic-based charging solution products.
