Under the hood of the Reno7 Z is a 5G-enabled Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, paired together with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Like its siblings, it also comes with OPPO’s RAM Expansion feature that can convert storage memory into additional RAM. Powering the phone is a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support via the brand’s SuperVOOC technology. Situated on the back of the phone, which is offered in either Rainbow Spectrum or Cosmic Black colourways, is a triple shooter setup consisting of a 64MP main camera, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. As mentioned earlier, featured around the lens of both the main and macro cameras is a RGB lighting system that lights up whenever there is a notification or when the phone is being charged. Meanwhile, housed within the display’s punch-hole cutout is a 16MP selfie camera.
The new Reno7 Z 5G is slated to go on sale in Malaysia on 2 April 2022 for RM1,699 via OPPO’s physical and online stores, its official Shopee store, as well as authorised retailers and telco partners. The company notes that sales of the phone on its official Lazada store will only begin from 9 April onwards.
Those interested may pre-order the new mid-ranger starting today until 1 April 2022 only via the brand’s official store outlets, online store, and its official store on Shopee. OPPO adds that pre-order purchases are also entitled to complimentary gifts worth up to RM233 while stocks last, which includes an official Reno bag and a purchase-with-purchase offer where buyers can get a 50% discount on the Enco Air2 earbuds.
