Common features between the two include a tactile knob for adjusting the volume. This is found on the left cup, which is also where the boom mic is. Both come with what the company calls the Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers. They can also be used on with any device that takes a 3.5mm audio jack.
But what sets the Razer BlackShark V2 from the V2 X is the USB sound card. This enables support for THX spatial audio, as well as virtual 7.1 surround sound. The mic on the regular V2 is also detachable, and it makes use of special breathable memory foam pads for its ear cushions. The V2 X comes instead with the standard memory foam pads. Both the Razer BlackShark V2 and the BlackSharkV2 X are now available on the company’s online store. The former is priced at RM599, while the latter comes in at RM349. Though on the page, the company says it only has a limited number of the former available. (Source: Razer [1], [2])
