After making a quick check through MCMC’s CheckYourLabel app, we’ve discovered that three different Realme 10 phones (listed under DTL Malaysia Sdn Bhd) have been listed in SIRIM’s database. These include the standard (RMX3630) variant, as well as the Pro 5G (RMX3661) and Pro+ 5G (RMX3686) models – all of which had recently been approved by the organisation in late October this year, which indicates their imminent arrival in Malaysia. For the standard model, it is revealed that the variant will arrive in two offerings: one that supports up to 4G, while the other (which was unveiled in China) supports 5G connectivity. Based on SIRIM’s listing, it seems that the former version is expected to arrive for the local market, which may come with the same specifications as the one launched in Indonesia. To recap, the new smartphone will sport a familiar design for its display and surrounding frame. Its back, on the other hand, is shown to feature a dual camera setup and a frosted metallic rear plate. Its display is a flat 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The vanilla Realme 10 is revealed to feature a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, along with up to 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. Additionally, powering it is a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging that is claimed to be able to top-up 50% of its capacity after just 28 minutes of charging. For imaging, found on the back of the phone is a 50 MP primary shooter, which is paired together with a 2MP macro shooter. Meanwhile, situated within the punch-hole cutout on its display is a 16 MP selfie camera. As for the Realme 10 Pro and Pro+ models, little is known about them apart from the latter’s design. Through a set of teasers released by the company on Weibo, it is revealed that the Pro+ variant will sport a curved display with a punch-hole cutout, as well as two circular camera bumps on its rear plate. It is worth noting that the bottom bump houses two sensors, meaning that the phone features three cameras in total on its back. For now, the specifications for both Pro models are anyone’s guess. However, unofficial sources have suggested that the Pro+ variant may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, and a 108 MP primary camera. True or not, we’ll only find out when Realme decides to release more information before or during the Realme 10 series’ launch next week. On that note, we’ll be sure to keep you posted when the company has confirmed its plans to debut the line-up for the Malaysian market. (Source: SIRIM, via CheckYourLabel / Weibo [1] [2])
