Alongside the announcement is a trailer that tells us a little bit about the deal with Starfield. Which, to be honest, isn’t much. It’s science fiction with space exploration, but nothing much beyond that. Naturally, there’s no gameplay here to be had. But according to a video hosted on The Washington Post, players in Starfield will play a member of Constellation. The organisation is dubbed “the last group of space explorers”. Narrating the clip is Bethesda’s Todd Howard, who says the game will let you “be who you want, go where you want, experience our stories, and forge your own”. Pretty much like every other entry in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout at this point. With the announcement comes the release date for Starfield, which is 11 November 2022. Which is a very long way away still. We will probably see more of the game, like gameplay, as we get closer to that date. The company also confirms that the game will only be on PC and both Xbox generations. (Source: The Washington Post via Engadget, Microsoft / Youtube)
