Dramatics aside, the announcement was made by Xbox head Phil Spencer in a recent blog post on the official Xbox website. He revealed that both the Series X and Series S will be released on 10 November this year, with pre-orders opening on 22 September. In terms of pricing, the former will retail at USD499 (~RM2,080) while the latter is priced at USD299 (~RM1,246).

Also thrown in as part of the package is a 24 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription with EA Play at no extra charge. But don’t get your hopes up as Malaysia is not included in that list, as expected. Bummer.
